HubSpot operates under a flexible work model called Flex.
Rather than requiring a single company-wide office schedule, employees can
work under one of three arrangements depending on their role and location:
-
@home — 72% of employees: primarily remote from their
home office.
-
@flex — 21%: a combination of home and regular visits to
a local HubSpot office.
-
@office — 7%: primarily office-based, generally working
from the office at least three days per week.
The majority of HubSpot roles can be performed remotely, from a HubSpot
office, or through a combination of both. However, eligibility depends on
the position and region, and some roles require employees to be office-based
or located close to a specific HubSpot office.
Remote roles at HubSpot are generally country-based rather than
work-from-anywhere. Employees must normally work from the country
in which they are employed. HubSpot does allow temporary international
mobility for up to 90 days in a country where the employee has authorization
to work.
@home employees may occasionally travel to HubSpot offices for team
meetings, offsites, or company events. HubSpot currently limits regular
office visits for @home employees to a maximum of twice per quarter.
HubSpot provides remote employees with work equipment and a monthly stipend
to support their home workspace. Engineering employees should also expect
to attend a regional HubSpot office for in-person onboarding.
