Italian language is more important in the professional environment than in northern Europe or the Netherlands; while many tech companies operate in English, integration into Italian professional networks requires Italian fluency. Additionally, Italy's north-south economic divide means that remote work opportunities, coworking infrastructure, and digital connectivity vary significantly by region.
