E-commerce & Online Marketplaces

Our story so far... Vytis and Zygis, co-founders of Eneba, are avid gamers themselves. Their story began in the early 2000s, sharing a dorm room. Students being students, they spent countless nights playing StarCraft, Lineage II, WarCraft, Heroes III, Command & Conquer, Civilization, FIFA, NBA, NukeZone, Counter-Strike, and Doom to name a few ;) And, actually, most of the early business ideas came to them while gaming. Fast forward through a couple of companies built and a lot of learning, our co-founders decided to circle back to what sparked entrepreneurship in them - gaming! That’s how we came about. Eneba was born in 2018. Today, our marketplace supports more than 5m active users (and growing fast!), provides a level of trust, safety and market accessibility unparalleled to none. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time and look forward to sharing this journey with you!

About the team

Behind every groundbreaking product, there’s an awesome team - and Fraud & Risk Operations is one of the cornerstones of Eneba’s success. This team plays a critical role in safeguarding our platforms, protecting user trust, and ensuring that every transaction - whether on our core marketplace or in other products - is as secure and fair as possible.
We’re looking for a Fraud Analyst who’s ready to own the entire fraud prevention process - from discovery to resolution. You’ll be on the frontline of one of our products, spotting suspicious patterns, digging deep into data, designing countermeasures, and implementing solutions yourself.
If you're a self-starter with a passion for finding anomalies and closing loopholes before they become threats - this is your team.

How You'll Shape Eneba:
  • By taking full ownership of fraud detection and prevention for one of Eneba’s products.

  • By analyzing large datasets using SQL to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging attack vectors.

  • By designing, writing, and optimizing dynamic fraud risk rules that scale with the business.

  • By owning and continuously improving False Positive Rates, balancing fraud prevention with conversion and customer experience.

  • By owning 3DS decisioning and optimization across multiple countries, deciding when and how additional authentication should be triggered.

  • By analyzing conversion, rejection, and verification drop-off rates, and proposing data-driven improvements.

  • By designing and maintaining fraud detection logic, alerts, and workflows used by Fraud Specialists.

  • By collaborating closely with Product, Payments, Data, and Engineering teams to improve fraud and verification systems.

  • By tracking and reporting fraud trends, clearly communicating insights and recommendations.

  • By taking responsibility for decisions made, learning from outcomes, and iterating quickly.

  • What makes you a great fit:
  • Proven experience in fraud analysis, payments risk, or risk management, with clear ownership over outcomes.

  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working with large datasets (SQL is mandatory).

  • Experience writing and maintaining dynamic fraud risk rules.

  • Effective communication skills, able to explain complex topics in simple words adjusted for different stakeholder groups.

  • Deep, practical knowledge of 3DS and how authentication strategies differ across countries and regions.

  • Solid understanding of fraud patterns, user behavior, and payment-related risks and KRIs.

  • Confidence in making data-backed decisions and owning the impact of those decisions.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Full professional proficiency in English.

  • Preferred, but not required:
  • Python experience
  • Experience working with fintechs, payment processors, or high-growth product companies.
  • Familiarity with fraud and payments tools such as Forter, nSure, justt.Ai
  • Exposure to PSD2, SCA, TRA, and liability shift concepts.
  • Experience working in international, multi-market environments.
  • What it’s like to work at Eneba

*Opportunity to join our Employee Stock Options program.
*Opportunity to help scale a unique product.
*Various bonus systems: performance-based, referral, additional paid leave, personal learning budget.
    *Paid volunteering opportunities.
*Work location of your choice: office, remote, opportunity to work and travel.
*Personal and professional growth at an exponential rate supported by well-defined feedback and promotion processes.
