Job description

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, vendor payments, and customer receipts.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports for management.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain expense records.
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping, as needed.
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal team members regarding financial matters.

The client is an insurance company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their day-to-day financial operations.

Must Haves

• Experience working in the insurance, financial services, or professional services industry.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with payroll processing.
• Has experience in AI for Financial Analysis.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience with payment platforms such as Bill.com, Stripe, or ACH processing.
• Bookkeeping certification (CB, CPB, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting multiple companies or entities.
• Previous experience working remotely.

Home Office Requirements
