Job description

This is a remote position!
The Trailer Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining all information regarding the trailer pool used at all USPS sites. This role will create, edit, delete, recommends invites and removals from the trailer pool using our TMS (AMOUS) the role will continually update the database of trailers as well as adapt to the changing needs of the customer regarding the pool.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • I manage and optimize the USPS trailer pool database, ensuring proper setup (GPS and documentation) and efficient use of tools like AMOUS for continuous tracking, updates, and reporting.
  • I work closely with carriers and internal teams to recover idle trailers, resolve on-site issues, and maintain smooth operations using various communication channels.
  • Additionally, I develop initiatives to maximize trailer utilization and reduce maintenance costs, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable operation.


Requirements

Trailer inventory experience - required! 
B2/C1 English level
Logistics experience
Knowledge of AMOUS TMS
