Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years experience in Inventory/Cost Accounting and SAP.
Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, statutory reporting, and inventory controls.
Fluent English plus one additional language (German, French, or Spanish).

Reconcile GR/IR, resolve discrepancies, and support product costing and adjustments.
Execute internal controls, ensure compliance, and support audits to deliver high-quality financial data.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to drive process improvements, SSC optimization, and alignment with global accounting policies; leverage SAP (CO, MM, FI, material ledger, GR/IR, costing) and Excel for analyses.

That's why were partnering with a leading global organization in the chemical and manufacturing industry to find an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for their growing Shared Service Center.

About the role:
As an Inventory Accounting Specialist, you will manage end-to-end inventory accounting for assigned entities within the SSC, ensuring accurate IFRS/statutory accounting, product costing, inventory valuation (FIFO/LCM), GR/IR management, and adjustments, while meeting SLAs, internal controls, and closing timelines to support efficient processes and high-quality financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end inventory accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
Reconcile GR/IR, resolve discrepancies, and support product costing.
Execute internal controls, ensure compliance, and support audits.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Strong SAP (CO, MM, FI, material ledger, GR/IR, costing), Excel, and analytical skills.
Support process improvements, SSC optimization, and global accounting policies

Who We're Looking For:
