Job description

This is a remote position.

The Equipment Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining all information regarding the trailer pool used at all USPS sites. This role will create, edit, delete, recommend invites and removals from the trailer pool  Using our TMS (AMOUS) the role will continually update the database of trailers as well as adapt to the changing needs of the customer regarding the pool.



Requirements

  • Experience in trailer, fleet, transportation, logistics, or operations management and control.
  • Ability to create, edit, and delete trailers within the system.
  • Ability to investigate and locate trailers that are idle, dormant, or out of service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, dispatch, asset management, or a similar role.
