About this Role:

Ampacity is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to own the end-to-end coordination of vendor-direct (drop ship) material shipments to project sites. This role acts as the central point of communication between vendors, 3PLs, project managers, and site receiving teams to ensure drop ship materials arrive on schedule, in good condition, and with minimal handling costs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple moving schedules at once, and skilled at resolving logistics issues before they impact project timelines or month-end close.

Location: Remote

Time Zone Preference: Central or Eastern

Pay Range: $75k- $85k

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate project delivery schedules with Project Managers to keep material flow aligned with site needs.
  • Oversee inbound receiving, including white glove and customer-managed deliveries.
  • Partner with 3PL providers to accommodate minor schedule adjustments as they arise.
  • Lead day-to-day shipping communication with vendors.
  • Monitor and respond to schedule changes, including daily truck volume, weather delays, and trucking issues.
  • Follow up on and resolve quality and allocation issues with vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to drop ship more material directly from vendors to site, reducing costs from double handling.
  • Track open inbound shipments to support accurate, on-time month-end close.

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or project coordination, ideally within construction, industrial, or capital projects environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of inbound logistics, freight/trucking operations, and 3PL management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of coordinating across vendors, carriers, project teams, and site personnel — even as schedules and conditions change.
  • A detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach to closing out inbound activity each month.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.

What You'll Get:
  • Competitive pay and 401k — because your work should be rewarded fairly
  • Time off you'll actually use: vacation, sick days, holidays, parental, and bereavement leave
  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus extra support when you need it
  • Wellness resources to help you show up as your best self, at work and at home
  • Real room to grow — we promote from within and invest in your development
