ROTATIONAL CHEF | Private Oyster 885

This is a remote position.

We're looking for a talented Chef to join a busy private sailing programme with an exciting few years ahead.

This is far more than a seasonal role. The programme combines long-range cruising, fantastic owner trips, and some incredible destinations. Following a refit period in the UK this autumn, plans include the Caribbean, a Panama Canal transit, Pacific cruising, and a season in Hawaii.

The owners are passionate sailors who spend significant time onboard and enjoy being part of the experience. They're engaged, approachable, and invested in the programme, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with owners and becoming part of a long-term team.

We're looking for a Chef who can produce exceptional food without making things overly complicated. Someone who is organised, adaptable and enjoys life onboard a sailing yacht. Whether it's relaxed family-style dining at anchor, entertaining guests, or preparing meals during a passage, you'll take pride in delivering consistently high standards.

This is a well-established programme with a fully rotational crew structure and a strong emphasis on professionalism, teamwork and longevity.

Chef Requirements:

• Previous experience as a sole Chef on a private yacht
  
• Strong all-round culinary skills with the ability to adapt to owner preferences
  
• Organised, proactive and capable of managing provisioning in remote locations
  
• Comfortable working as part of a close-knit crew on a busy sailing programme
  
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
