Overview:

About the Role & Team

This role supports the scaling of IDC’s Learning Engineering and Solutions team during a critical period of enterprise transformation for 12 months. With Quanta Training Programs, RDI transformation, Sales Enablement, and enterprise modernization occurring concurrently, the organization requires increased enablement production capacity to maintain execution speed and readiness across a 2,000-person workforce.  The contractor will contribute to the development, maintenance, and scaling of enablement content, while also supporting operational improvements tied to the Unified Learning Experience initiative. This includes strengthening content organization, repository management, and overall learning platform hygiene to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and structured for future scalability. This role is essential to stabilizing throughput, reducing training debt, improving content governance, and ensuring that learning assets and data are well-organized, properly documented, and prepared for ongoing transformation efforts across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain reusable templates and style standards for the team’s core production tools (e.g., Synthesia, Camtasia, Canva), ensuring consistent, on-brand output and faster turnaround across content workstreams.
  • Execute assigned production tasks to support the creation and update of enablement content, following established templates and standards.
  • Perform content cleanup and maintenance activities, including identifying and addressing outdated, duplicate, or redundant training materials
  • Support organization and structuring of learning assets across repositories, ensuring consistent naming conventions, version control, and file management practices
  • Assist in maintaining content inventories and tracking systems to improve visibility, reporting, and control of learning assets
  • Support backlog reduction by completing ticketed updates, revisions, and rebuilds within defined intake and workflow processes
  • Contribute to improving overall content hygiene and governance aligned with the Unified Learning Experience (ULE) initiative

What You Bring

  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in instructional design or training content development.
  •  Instructional Design certification is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in template design using tools such as Canva, with the ability to build reusable, on-brand templates across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with video editing tools such as Camtasia and VideoScribe.
  • Familiarity with scorm authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools used for training and content development, including tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia, and ElevenLabs.

Attributes:

  • Fast learner with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong comprehension and ability to follow structured instructions.
