Performance Tester

M9 Solutions is seeking a Performance Tester to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active Public Trust clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for performance testing and automation initiatives for teams and projects enterprise-wide.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of testing processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain performance testing policies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance with organizational and security standards.
• Create, update, and manage training materials for performance testing and automation, ensuring they align with industry trends and organizational needs.
• Deliver ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to cross-functional teams to enhance their ability to execute automation and performance testing, driving continuous quality improvement.
• Simulate hundreds/thousands of virtual users (Vusers).
• Capture KPIs like response time, throughput, and error rate.
• Support different protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, web services, etc., depending on licensing).
• Provide analysis reports and graphs to identify bottlenecks.
• Administrative support for maintenance of testing infrastructure and tools, including ALM, LoadRunner Enterprise, UFT, etc.
• Performance testing SDLC executions, development of performance test Scripts, test plans, test executions, analysis, and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
• An active Public Trust level clearance is required. 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferred.
• Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience with LoadRunner Enterprise, 5 years with ALM and UFT, and software development preferred.
