Job description

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible within AEST/PHT

About the Company

Our client is a growing Australian e-commerce brand in the home and lifestyle space, offering thoughtfully designed products that combine functionality, modern aesthetics, and practical everyday use.

The business sells across Australia, Canada, and the United States, primarily through Amazon, with an expanding Shopify presence. As the company continues to grow, the Founder is looking to strengthen the operational side of the business by bringing in someone who can take increasing ownership of inventory planning, supply chain coordination, logistics, and Amazon marketplace operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized eCommerce Operations and Inventory Specialist to support and eventually take ownership of key areas across the company’s Amazon operations, inventory planning, supply chain, and logistics.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong experience in Amazon Seller Central and FBA operations who understands the end-to-end movement of inventory—from demand forecasting and supplier production through freight coordination and delivery into Amazon fulfillment centers.

The ideal candidate can work independently, anticipate inventory and logistics issues before they become problems, and bring enough Amazon operational experience to contribute quickly without requiring extensive platform training.

This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Amazon Seller Central & FBA Operations: Manage day-to-day marketplace and fulfillment operations across Australia, US, and Canada

  • Inventory Forecasting & Replenishment: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and plan replenishment to prevent stockouts

  • Supplier & Production Coordination: Communicate with suppliers, track production timelines, and follow up on orders

  • Purchase Order & Inventory Management: Create and manage POs, maintain inventory accuracy, and track inbound stock

  • Freight & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate freight forwarders, inspections, 3PLs, and international shipments

  • FBA Shipment Management: Create shipments, prepare labels and documentation, and monitor delivery to Amazon

  • Amazon Catalogue & Content Management: Handle listings, variations, images, videos, A+ Content, and storefront updates

  • Seller Support & Issue Resolution: Manage Seller Support cases and troubleshoot catalogue, listing, and inventory issues

  • AI & Workflow Optimization: Use ChatGPT and Claude for research, analysis, reporting, documentation, and process improvement

  • Operational Ownership: Proactively manage priorities and take increasing ownership of inventory, logistics, and Amazon operations

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven experience supporting or managing Amazon Seller Central and FBA operations

  • Strong hands-on experience with inventory forecasting, replenishment planning, and stock management.

  • Experience coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and/or inspection providers

  • Experience creating and managing Amazon FBA shipments, including labels, documentation, and shipment monitoring.

  • Hands-on experience managing Amazon listings, variations, catalogue updates, and Seller Support cases.

  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and/or Claude for research, analysis, reporting, and documentation

  • Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working across multiple Amazon marketplaces is strongly preferred

  • Experience with SoStocked or another Amazon inventory forecasting and replenishment platform

  • Experience with ZonGuru, Helium 10, or similar Amazon research and optimization tools

  • Experience working with China-based suppliers, including sourcing or coordination through Alibaba

  • Familiarity with Shopify and general Shopify operations

  • Basic understanding of Amazon PPC, keyword strategy, and how advertising can affect sales velocity and inventory planning.

  • Experience with Amazon SEO, keyword research, A+ Content, or listing optimization.
