Digital Payments & Money Transfer
See how your profile stacks up against this role.
We compared the job requirements to your profile to show where you're strong and where you fall short.
What do we do?
Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.
We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 6000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.
The Role
As a Junior Treasury Operations Specialist, you’ll play an important role in maintaining Paddle’s day-to-day treasury operations and helping treasury support Paddle’s business needs. You’ll work closely with the wider finance team and other stakeholders to process and reconcile customer payments, maintain accurate banking and treasury records, support cash management activities and help ensure our reporting is complete and reliable.
This role would suit someone with a few years of experience in treasury, accounting, accounts payable, payments operations or a similar finance environment. You’ll have the opportunity to build on your existing experience while gaining broader exposure to treasury, payments, cash management and month-end finance activities in a rapidly growing, global business.
What you’ll do
Reconcile customer payments across multiple payment platforms, bank accounts and internal records.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash and reconciliation breaks.
Prepare and close treasury and bank reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis.
Support daily cash management activities, including monitoring balances, tracking movements and escalating issues where appropriate.
Maintain accurate treasury data and documentation, ensuring processes are completed in line with agreed controls and deadlines.
Handle finance-related support tickets, providing clear, timely responses and escalating complex issues to the relevant teams.
Support month-end activities by preparing, validating and organising financial data for reporting.
Assist with the production of treasury and finance reports, ensuring information is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
Work with teams across finance, payments, operations and customer support to investigate issues and improve processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate recurring treasury activities.
Contribute to a strong control environment by maintaining clear audit trails and following documented procedures.
We'd love to hear from you if you are
Experienced in treasury, accounting, accounts payable, payments operations or a related finance function, ideally with a few years of relevant experience.
Familiar with bank reconciliations, payment processing, customer payouts or tax payments.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, finance and accounting systems and large volumes of financial data.
Highly detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to reconciliations and investigation.
Experienced in managing recurring deadlines, including weekly, monthly and payment-related deadlines.
Curious and proactive, with the confidence to ask questions and take ownership of tasks.
Able to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues and escalate matters appropriately.
A clear and thoughtful communicator who enjoys working with people across different teams.
Interested in improving processes rather than simply repeating them.
Familiar with accounting, banking or payment platforms. Experience with treasury management systems or ERP platforms would be helpful.
