Job description

What do we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 6000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The role:

The Outbound BDR team is where pipeline gets built. As Team Leader, you'll be the person keeping it moving — close to the calls, close to the numbers, close to the people.

It's a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll coach a team of BDRs to do their best work, translate targets into clear daily focus and work with your manager and peers in Sales and Marketing to make the whole operation sharper. What you learn on the front line will feed directly into how we improve.

What you'll do:

  • Own the team target and pipeline numbers, translating quarterly goals into clear weekly priorities and staying on top of what's working and what needs to change.

  • Coach your team through regular 1:1s, call reviews and messaging sessions, giving direct feedback that moves people forward and addressing performance issues early.

  • Stay hands-on with the actual work — reviewing calls, sequences and account strategies to understand what's driving results and where execution needs to improve.

  • Build an environment where BDRs feel genuinely supported — through honest development conversations, clear feedback and the kind of culture where people want to do their best work.

  • Work closely with AEs and Marketing peers on territory planning, account prioritisation and handoffs, sharing what you're seeing on the front line to sharpen how the team operates.

  • Own the onboarding of new BDRs — setting clear expectations from day one and providing the structured coaching they need to get productive quickly.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • You've spent around 5 years in a commercial role and have some experience leading or managing a team.

  • You have a strong track record as a BDR or SDR and a genuine feel for what great outbound looks like in practice.

  • You've coached people before — and you're good at turning your own experience into something that works for others.

  • You're comfortable reading performance data and using it to make decisions, not just track activity.

  • You communicate directly, build trust quickly and give feedback people can actually do something with.

  • You work well with others and know when a problem needs more than just you.
