Job description

Job Summary:

As an Implementation Lead and Subject Matter Expert, you will play a crucial role in leading and deploying our software solutions for clients. Your technical expertise, industry knowledge and problem-solving abilities will ensure successful implementation, smooth project execution, and customer satisfaction. This role requires an understanding of software systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand their business processes, and determine optimal technical solutions.
  • Develop implementation plans, project timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely execution.
  • Design and configure software systems based on client needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing of software configurations, identifying and resolving any technical issues or compatibility concerns.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams throughout the implementation process, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and other stakeholders to address complex technical challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the implementation process and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Document implementation processes, technical specifications, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Assist in training end-users on software functionalities, offering guidance and support to maximize their understanding and utilization of the system
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in gov tech implementations, preferably in a software company or IT consulting environment.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of software systems, including software architecture and databases.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL) and data integration concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality implementations and meeting project deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous learning mindset and a drive for professional growth.
  • Understanding of data schemas and indexing requirements.


Work Environment:

  • Office setting with a moderate noise level.
  • The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Regular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines.
  • Occasional movement around the office.
  • Frequent communication via telephone.
