Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a UI/UX Designer position for our client.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months

 

Duties:

  • Design high-quality, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.

  • Create high-fidelity UI designs with strong attention to typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and consistency.

  • Contribute to and expand design systems, including component libraries, variants, patterns, and supporting documentation.

  • Develop interactive prototypes that demonstrate user flows, transitions, states, and interactions.

  • Design adaptive experiences for responsive web and native mobile applications.

  • Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout the design process, including WCAG 2.x standards.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical considerations into intuitive and effective design solutions.

  • Incorporate user research, analytics, usability testing, and other insights to refine designs and improve user experiences.

  • Support iterative design processes in Agile or product-driven environments.

Skills:

  • Senior-level UI/UX design expertise with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, systems thinking, and component-based design in production environments.

  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, and prototyping.

  • Strong high-fidelity UI design skills for web and mobile applications.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining design systems.

  • Ability to create interactive prototypes and communicate complex user flows and interactions.

  • Experience designing adaptive web and native mobile experiences.

  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.x accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile and product development methodologies.

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms is a plus.

Experience:

  • Senior-level experience in UI/UX, product design, interaction design, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience contributing to and expanding enterprise or production-level design systems.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile or product-driven environments.

  • Experience with usability testing and interpreting findings to inform design iterations is preferred.

  • Exposure to analytics or user research insights is preferred.

  • Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions is a plus.

  • Experience working within enterprise-scale or complex product ecosystems is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $60.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
