Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain the training curriculum and knowledge resources for two core audiences: TM App Teachers worldwide, and TM Teachers and national offices that have adopted MFI's integrated business tools (the TM Suite). You will build and maintain training courses, help centers, and training materials for both audiences, keeping them current and effective as MFI's digital products evolve.

You will also support national offices through onboarding — helping stakeholders stay aligned and self-sufficient as they adopt MFI's tools.

This position requires strong organisation, planning, and verbal/written communication skills.

About You

Please only apply for this role if you are a certified Transcendental Meditation teacher.

You are driven to help others by sharing knowledge clearly. You enjoy taking complex or technical information and turning it into training that's simple and engaging to follow. You're comfortable with detailed technical concepts and enjoy building structure and organisational systems around them.

You are naturally proactive, able to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise well. You communicate clearly with different audiences — teachers, national stakeholders, and internal teams alike — and enjoy building relationships with a multicultural group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Training & Curriculum

  • Design, build, and maintain training courses that prepare TM teachers to use MFI's digital products

  • Write presentation scripts and produce/record training videos

  • Build training for new tools and systems as they roll out to teachers and national offices

  • Manage enrollment and provide ongoing training support to trainees

Knowledge Base & Ongoing Readiness

  • Own and maintain help center content for both audiences

  • Keep all training materials and knowledge resources current as features ship — update content proactively alongside product releases

Stakeholder Support & Alignment

  • Support national offices adopting MFI tools during migration and rollout projects, helping teams build the confidence and knowledge to support their own teachers

  • Build relationships and trust with a multicultural group of national stakeholders

  • Coordinate with other teams to keep training and communications aligned with project timelines

  • Surface stakeholder training needs and questions to the wider team

Communications

  • Own teacher communications for the app-teacher audience, including updates when new features go live

  • Build and implement communication campaigns, including writing and editing emails

  • Tailor communication to different internal and external stakeholder groups

Skills and Requirements

  • Certified Transcendental Meditation Teacher with 5 years' experience

  • Bonus points if you've already been trained in how to use the TM App to teach TM with the digital course

  • Experience creating curricula and training content, both live and recorded

  • Experience managing or maintaining a knowledge base or help center (Intercom or similar)

  • Comfortable with detailed technical understanding of digital products/platforms

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience documenting processes and keeping materials up to date over time

  • Experience working with stakeholders across teams or organisations

  • Experience working in a global non-profit, remote team, or multinational organization preferred

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
