Basic Scope / Purpose

The Client Operations Intern will support the Client Operations team by assisting with project coordination, reporting, process documentation, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to cross-functional business operations and offers the opportunity to work alongside leadership on projects that support operational excellence and client success. The intern will gain practical experience in project management, business analytics, and operational reporting while contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with coordinating project activities and tracking project milestones to ensure timely completion.

•Gather project requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.

•Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and Business Objects.

•Document operational processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

•Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.

•Participate in project meetings and document action items and follow-up tasks.

•Assist with data collection, analysis, and presentation preparation for leadership.

•Help maintain project documentation and status updates.

•Perform administrative and operational support tasks as assigned.

•Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

Education

•Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience

•Previous internship, customer service, or administrative experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•Strong organizational and time management skills.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

•Ability to learn new software applications quickly.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

•Interest in project management, business operations, reporting, or process improvement.

•Experience with Power BI, Business Objects, Power Apps, or other reporting tools is a plus.

Physical Requirements

•Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.

•Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds.

•Ability to communicate effectively in person and virtually.

Work Environment

•Remote position with a preference for candidates located in the Central Time Zone. Occasional virtual meetings with cross-functional teams and leadership are required.
