Your role in our team
As our new Associate Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving cybersecurity accreditation and compliance initiatives that support critical defense and security frameworks. You will act as the bridge between technical teams, cybersecurity specialists, customers, and key stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with stringent security requirements.
In this role, you will translate complex cybersecurity and accreditation requirements into structured project plans, clear milestones, and actionable deliverables. You will oversee the planning, risk management, and delivery of projects aimed at securing defense networks, tactical systems, and infrastructure to achieve official security approvals.
You will be joining an energetic and innovative team within our Cyber & Quantum Technology department. How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

- Project Lifecycle Management: Define project scope, develop detailed work structures, and maintain integrated schedules to ensure accreditation milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder & Authority Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between internal engineering teams, cybersecurity specialists, and the customers.
- Accreditation Framework Delivery: Manage and track the preparation, collection, and compliance of security documentation, system descriptions, and artifacts required for formal evaluation.
- Risk & Vulnerability Management: Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and technical hurdles that could delay the formal Authorization to Operate (ATO) or security approval.
- Reporting & Governance: Conduct regular progress reviews, manage change control processes, and deliver concise status dashboards to senior leadership and clients.
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

- You hold a Bachelor´s degree or a Master´s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have 3+ years of dedicated Project Management experience, preferably within IT, cybersecurity, aerospace, defense, or high-security public sector environments in Denmark.
- A Solid understanding of international and national cybersecurity standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
- Direct experience with security governance workflows, vulnerability assessment tracking, and managing Remediation Plans / Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
- Proficiency with enterprise project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project) to maintain agile, waterfall, or hybrid workflows.
- Ability to confidently converse with systems engineers, cryptography specialists, and security analysts regarding concepts like network segmentation, encryption, and identity management, translating them into actionable project timelines.
