Strong expertise in kdb+/Q programming for time-series data, including in-memory and on-disk (splayed/partitioned) tables
Experience designing and optimizing feed architectures (Ticker Plants, Chained Tickers) and Real-time Databases (RDB) and Historical Database (HDB)
Excellent problem-solving and performance optimization skills, with ability to identify I/O and CPU bottlenecks and apply vector processing to avoid slow loops
Experience building connectivity interfaces (APIs) between kdb+ and other languages such as Python (PyQ/EmbedPy), Java, or C++, and fluent English communication

Responsibilities
