Roles & Responsibilities

Current security clearance of at least Negative Vetting Level 1
Minimum five years of experience in design, management and maintenance of large-scale data centre networking environments
Experience in development of network high-level designs and detailed designs
Ability to articulate design and implementation plans with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; excellent written and oral communication; ability to work effectively as a team member

Requirements:

Design, develop, implement and maintain large-scale data centre network architectures
Develop and maintain network high-level and detailed designs and corresponding implementation plans
Configure and maintain network devices (e.g., Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Cisco ACI, F5 load balancers, DNS, proxies, firewalls) and use network management tools to diagnose performance issues
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders; ensure compliance with Australian Government information security policies (ASD ISM and Essential Eight)

Job description

This is a remote position.

Mandatory Criteria

· A current security clearance of at least Negative Vetting Level 1.

· At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in the design, management and maintenance of large scale data centre networking environment.

· Experience in the development of network high-level designs and detailed designs.

· Ability to articulate detail through design and implementation plans.

· High developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

· Ability to work effectively as a team member.

Weighted Criteria

· Demonstrated experience with Solid knowledge in design and configuration of Networking, Wireless LAN, Software Define Network.

· Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of enterprise network.

· Demonstrated experience in implementing, configuring and maintaining network devices including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus Switches, Cisco ACI, F5 Load balancers, DNS, network proxy and network firewalls.

· Expertise in dynamic routing protocols, particularly EIGRP, OSPF & BGP.

· Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation.

· Experience using network management software and tools to investigate and diagnose network problems, collect performance statistics and create reports.

· Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
