Job Title: PeopleSoft Functional Consultant – HCM, Payroll & HR

Work Arrangement: On-site (No Work From Home)

Security Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance (Mandatory)

About the Role
We are seeking experienced PeopleSoft Functional Consultants with expertise in HCM, Payroll and HR to join a high-profile Defence program. This role requires consultants to work closely with business stakeholders to analyse requirements, configure PeopleSoft solutions, support business processes and ensure successful delivery of functional outcomes.
Candidates must hold a current NV1 Security Clearance and be willing to work full-time on-site at Defence client locations.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Configure and support PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll and HR modules.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to understand business processes and identify solution improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation and user guides.
• Collaborate with technical teams during development, testing and deployment activities.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production releases.
• Perform impact analysis for system enhancements and change requests.
• Provide functional support, issue resolution and user guidance.
• Ensure solutions align with Defence standards, governance and security requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant.
• Strong functional expertise across one or more of the following:
o PeopleSoft HCM
o PeopleSoft Payroll
o PeopleSoft Human Resources (HR)
• Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis and functional documentation.
• Experience configuring and supporting PeopleSoft applications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience supporting testing activities including SIT and UAT.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.


Desirable
• Experience delivering projects within Defence or other Australian Government agencies.
• Knowledge of PeopleTools and integration concepts.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


Requirements

• Current NV1 Security Clearance.
• Ability to work on-site at Defence client locations.
• Canberra-based candidates are preferred; however, applicants from other Australian capital cities are encouraged to apply, provided they can work on-site.
