Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote AutoCAD 2D/3D Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD drafting, 3D modeling, and technical drawing for various industries, including architecture, engineering, or manufacturing. This role requires precision, creativity, and the ability to interpret complex design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models based on project requirements.
Interpret and modify architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings as needed.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Revise designs based on feedback and client specifications.
Maintain project documentation and adhere to industry standards.
Optimize CAD files for manufacturing, construction, or presentation purposes.
Stay up to date with CAD software advancements and best practices.
Perform other ongoing administrative tasks as needed to support operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
Strong and clear communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, providers, and potential clients.
Proficient in drafting using AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
Experience with other CAD software (Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Microsoft Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and drafting standards.
Experience in one or more industries such as architecture, construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision.
Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
