MEP CAD/Revit Designer & Drafter (Plumbing)

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced MEP CAD/Revit Designer & Drafter with a strong focus on plumbing systems to join our growing team. This role is responsible for producing accurate, code-compliant shop drawings and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD while coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure efficient system integration.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical drafting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction principles and MEP systems. This individual must be capable of working independently, solving routing challenges, and adapting to client-specific standards and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed and accurate shop drawings for plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
  
• Coordinate and route piping systems efficiently while maintaining constructability and code compliance.
  
• Identify and resolve complex routing and coordination challenges.
  
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  
• Work within established client templates, standards, and documentation procedures.
  
• Review project specifications and ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes and requirements.
  
• Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve clashes before construction.
  
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, field conditions, and project changes.
  
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files.
  
• Participate in project meetings and communicate technical solutions clearly and professionally.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience creating MEP shop drawings.
  
• Advanced proficiency with Revit MEP.
  
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
  
• Understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
  
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building systems.
  
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on construction projects.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
