Social Media Manager for a Finance and Investment Business in the US (Home Based Part Time)

• Manage and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and X, posting consistently
• Maintain a weekly mix of video and carousel content on each platform (previously 4x/week per platform: 2 videos, 2 carousels; client now wants daily consistency)
• Edit short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and X
• Design carousels following the established brand color scheme
• Write captions and research relevant hashtags for each post
• Provide honest, constructive feedback on the client's videos (delivery, hooks, pacing, structure)
• Suggest creative ideas for how the client can present and deliver video content
• Promote the client's ebook (investing for beginnners) with worksheets, across all platforms
• Build an email list from scratch (lead capture setup, list growth strategy)
• Take ownership of the content calendar so the client can be more hands off

The Company is a financial education business that helps beginners understand investing and the stock market through simple, easy-to-follow content.

Must Haves

• Proven experience managing Instagram, TikTok, and X accounts for a brand independently
• Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Carousel and graphic design experience (Canva or similar)
• Strong caption writing and hashtag research skills
• Experience with scheduling tools and maintaining a consistent daily posting calendar
• Self-directed and proactive; able to plan and execute with minimal oversight
• Confident giving candid, constructive feedback on content
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience in the finance, investing, or personal finance content space
• Experience promoting digital products (ebooks, courses, templates) on social media
• Experience building email lists and setting up lead magnets/opt-in funnels
• Creative direction or content strategy background
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit/Kit, Beehiiv, etc.)

Home Office Requirements
