IT Control Specialist

As an IT Control Specialist, you help build a new capability that collects IT control data and turns it into standardized, automated and reusable insights. You work at the intersection of risk, data and technology, helping teams understand IT controls consistently and enabling a generic IT control reader guide that can be used across domains.

As an IT Control Specialist, you help make IT controls measurable, comparable and actionable. You structure data from multiple sources, translate it into a standardized format and automate the processing into reusable insights and a clear reader guide for stakeholders.

You will help connect IT control owners, risk specialists, data colleagues and technology teams. Together, you will develop a standardized way of collecting and processing IT control information, so stakeholders can read, compare and use control outcomes consistently across domains.

You define clear standards for data quality, traceability and interpretation of IT control information. You ensure that data processing is reliable, repeatable and auditable, and you continuously improve the reader guide and the automation that supports it.

What you will do

• Collect, validate and structure IT control data from multiple sources in a standardized way

• Work with IT control owners, risk specialists, data engineers and technology teams to align control logic, data definitions and reporting needs

• Maintain data definitions, mapping rules, traceability and documentation for IT control information

• Design automated data flows that transform raw IT control data into standardized insights

• Develop reusable IT control templates, indicators and reader guide components

• Apply internal risk standards and relevant regulatory expectations to IT control reporting and interpretation

• Identify data quality issues, root causes and improvement opportunities in IT control information

• Identify and prioritize automation and AI opportunities that improve IT control insight generation

Who you will work with

You will work closely with IT control owners, risk specialists, data professionals and technology colleagues. Together, you will build a standardized and automated way to turn IT control data into clear insights for multiple stakeholders. You will be part of a growing capability with colleagues in the Netherlands and Prague, focused on making IT control information more consistent, reusable and data-driven across domains.

Your experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex IT control data into clear, practical insights

• Experience or affinity with risk management, IT control, audit, compliance, ITGC or control testing

• Ability to understand IT control processes, data flows, performance indicators and reporting needs

• Hands-on experience with data, reporting or automation tooling, or a strong willingness to develop these skills

• Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulatory frameworks, such as DORA

• Curiosity about automation and AI, and the ability to identify repeatable IT control processes for improvement
