Your day at NTT DATA

Responsible for the on-site integration of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. On-site and/or remote installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals. Serves as company liaison with client on administrative and technical matters. Interprets clients’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, client support representatives or engineers. This role is primarily based at the client's site in Pardubice, with occasional travel as required.

Job Description:

  • This is often a college graduate who is entering the workforce in their field of study.
  • They know basic principles, methods, technologies, and practices for their professional field, but usually have limited experience in applying them outside a classroom setting.
  • They handle detailed problems which require standard solutions.
  • They receive general directions from their supervisor, are assigned deliverables and may be part of a team.
  • Performs trouble shooting parts replacement, system upgrades, advanced deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.
  • Uses advanced tools /technical knowledge to remediate client problems and conduct scheduled installations.
  • May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
  • Interact directly with clients and other internal and external sources to resolve issues.
  • May distribute workload among team members.
  • May prepare documentation to record and track issue resolutions.
  • Often provides team leadership and mentoring.
  • Uses advanced tools /technical knowledge to remediate client problems and conduct scheduled installations.
  • Provides technical feedback on technical process issues to improve overall service delivery.
  • May act as team lead at times and coach team members.

Years of Experience:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications:

  • High School Degree / Diploma or equivalent.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Windows operating system environment.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems may be required.
  • Strong client service skills.
  • A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
  • The individual must have excellent Czech communication skills (spoken, reading, and written). Proficiency in English (spoken, reading, and written) is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • The person must be physically able to do normal office tasks, including occasionally lifting or moving items that can weigh up to 23 kg, with support equipment like trolleys, trays etc.
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
