At the same time, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to automation initiatives, enhance reporting processes and strengthen actuarial capabilities across the business.

Not necessarily. IFRS 17 is currently a strategic priority for the team and experience in this area is highly valued. However, strong Solvency II experience combined with reporting, valuation and analytical expertise can also be a great fit."Is this role focused only on reporting?"

What will help you succeed in this role

  • A degree in Actuarial Science or a related quantitative discipline, providing the technical foundations needed to understand complex actuarial and financial concepts.
  • At least 4 years of experience in actuarial reporting, valuation, financial reporting or risk reporting within the insurance industry, allowing you to navigate reporting cycles confidently and contribute from day one.
  • Experience with IFRS 17 reporting, including areas such as BEL, Risk Adjustment, CSM, Analysis of Movements, experience variances and operating result analysis. This will help you quickly add value in one of the team's key strategic priorities.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II reporting, including Technical Provisions, Own Funds, OCG, SCR or ORSA, which will strengthen your ability to operate across regulatory and financial frameworks.
  • Experience with R3S, Prophet or similar actuarial modelling platforms, helping you analyze, validate and interpret actuarial outputs effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to investigate movements, identify drivers and communicate conclusions clearly.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, since you will regularly interact with international stakeholders across NN Group.
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, R, Power BI or automation tools is highly valued, as we are committed to increasing efficiency and simplifying reporting processes.
  • Curiosity and a mindset of continuous improvement, helping you identify opportunities to improve controls, reduce complexity and enhance reporting quality.

Your mission

Your mission will be to ensure the delivery of accurate, transparent and well-controlled actuarial reporting across IFRS 17 and Solvency II frameworks, while continuously improving processes, strengthening governance and supporting informed business decisions that contribute to NN Spain’s financial performance and strategic objectives.

  • Support audits, business planning, forecasting, model validation and governance activities, contributing actuarial expertise across the organisation.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives, reducing manual processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
