  • Development of apprenticeship standards, assessment materials for EPA and apprenticeship assessment in line with roadmap and budget.
  • Maintaining and refining existing assessment materials, processes and documentation in line with the roadmap and document control register.
  • Risk assessing the viability of our products from design to delivery, to ensure scalability and high quality.
  • Applying instructional design principles and learning theories to create effective, accessible and engaging learning materials.
  • Content creation of key artifacts to support learners, providers and employers.
  • Technical application of learning technologies using up to date authoring tools, platforms, software, AI tools and multimedia applications to build online assessment, MCQs, learning materials and supporting documentation.
  • Managing multiple products at different stages of their lifecycle.
  • Compliance with Ofqual’s General Condition of Recognition across all tasks.
  • Maintaining CPD for appropriate competency and knowledge to support the range of assessments we offer.
  • Potential to support or carry out assessment delivery
  • Identifying potential future products by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product changes/updates in line with technology changes, governance and customer requirements.
  • Other duties as required

What We’re Looking For Essential:

  • Commercial knowledge and understanding of the education environment and the requirements for providers, employers and relevant governing bodies.
  • 3-5 years proven experience managing a portfolio of products
  • In depth knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theories, and the ability to apply these across a range of media and methods
  • Knowledge and understanding of Ofqual’s General Condition of Recognition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to listen, understand customer requirements and work with others to translate these into practical product solutions
  • The ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders, and motivate them to make informed decisions.
  • Experience working with AI tools and incorporating them into your work to improve quality and create time efficiencies
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, able to work with accuracy and attention to detail; able to handle multiple relationships and deadlines with ease
  • A data driven mindset, able to make informed and factual decisions, and communicate accurate information
  • A customer-centric ethos, with an ability to manage internal and external expectations.
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple products whilst meeting deadlines and prioritise work effectively
  • Good use of Office 365, SharePoint, PowerBI
  • Broad range of skills and knowledge of instruction design tools

Desirable:

  • Curriculum design experience
  • An understanding of Equalities Law and how this is applied across learning solutions.
