The Digital Operations Director is responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of enterprise digital platforms, including developing and executing the strategy, governance, and operational performance, ensuring digital products, capabilities, and web operations support business objectives, customer experience goals, and organizational growth. This role is accountable for leading complex, cross-functional digital initiatives, establishing operational frameworks, and driving continuous improvement across web product functionality, e-commerce operations, and digital service delivery. This role is accountable for influencing enterprise stakeholders and directing strategic priorities that optimize platform performance, customer engagement, and business outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and oversee enterprise digital governance and portfolio execution, ensuring strategic initiatives, technology investments, and operational priorities align with business objectives and organizational goals
  • Establish portfolio priorities, business outcomes, investment oversight processes, resource allocation strategies, integrated schedules, budgets, and performance management practices to support successful execution of digital initiatives
  • Establish and oversee governance, processes, budgets, and operational standards supporting digital commerce activities, web services, and product delivery outcomes
  • Direct the lifecycle management and operational performance of digital products and web capabilities, ensuring functionality, usability, scalability, and alignment with business priorities
  • Lead enterprise-wide digital initiatives and complex technical projects, providing delivery direction to program managers, project managers, and workstream leaders to achieve milestones, meet quality standards, and deliver business value
  • Oversee website operations, content delivery, traffic management, platform maintenance, and service performance to ensure reliable, effective, and customer-focused digital experiences
  • Evaluate digital commerce performance through defined metrics, usage analytics, risk assessments, operational reviews, and value realization measures to identify opportunities, recommend improvements, and proactively addressing issues that may impact strategic objectives
  • Establish and oversee governance for enterprise AI and emerging technology practices by establishing policies, standards, risk management controls, and oversight processes that promote responsible, compliant, and effective use of technology
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on governance for AI and emerging technology, program dependencies, portfolio priorities, and vendor capabilities
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders, technology partners, and service providers to ensure digital platforms, applications, and supporting infrastructure meet organizational requirements and strategic goals
  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Degree in Business, Marketing , Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 10 years of progressive experience in digital commerce, digital product management, e-commerce operations, web operations, or related disciplines
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience


Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated expertise in digital governance, portfolio management, operational excellence, and performance measurement practices
  • Ability to lead complex programs and influence executives and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Ability to establish technology governance frameworks and operating models that improve organizational effectiveness and accountability
  • Ability to develop and execute enterprise strategies, roadmaps, and operational plans aligned with business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage customer, operational, and performance data to drive decisions and outcomes
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, product development, issue tracking, and backlog management practices
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex and ambiguous business environments
  • Knowledge of digital commerce technologies, platform integrations, and supporting application ecosystems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, operational priorities, and competing business demands

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.

$139,200.00 - $185,666.67
