Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, analytically strong finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will partner and support leaders across Finance, Accounting, Product, Operations, and other business functions to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, performance reporting, and financial modeling which supports data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights in a regulated SaaS environment. Experience supporting a SaaS or other recurring-revenue business model is preferred, including familiarity with driver-based planning, and business modeling.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in completion of annual budget, periodic forecasts, and longer-range planning in partnership with business leaders
  • Supports development and maintenance of driver-based financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that support strategic and operational decisions relating to revenue, software capitalization or cost modeling
  • Prepares recurring financial reports, variance analysis, and KPI tracking to support finance team reporting needs
  • Supports revenue and operating expense forecasting through analysis of business drivers, trends, and assumptions
  • Partners with Accounting and cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy, reporting quality, and financial visibility
  • Analyzes financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and cost optimization opportunities to support decision making
  • Drives process improvement, reporting automation, and analytics relating to project cost modeling
  • Maintains compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements
  • Develops understanding of accounting and finance in the context of a SaaS and recurring-revenue company including revenue, costs, margin trends and other financial metrics
  • Uses approved AI tools responsibly to improve analysis, reporting efficiency, and productivity while protecting confidential information and complying with company policy, internal controls, and data governance requirements
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to connect financial results to business performance, operational drivers, and recurring-revenue economics
  • Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communication with leadership
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, with ERP/financial systems, and analytics/dashboarding tools
  • Ability to use approved AI tools appropriately to support analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency while maintaining sound judgment, protecting sensitive data, and following company policy

Experience:

  • 4 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or corporate accounting, including experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and business decision support

Required Training, Certification and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent experience

Preferred Training, Certification and Education:

  • Advanced credentials are preferred but not required.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA helpful

Working Conditions:

  • Home office or general office environment
  • Ability to remain at a workstation for extended periods and perform work using standard office technology
