This position is part of the Sales Department located in Paris area, France, EMEA and will be fully remote. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develops and manages assigned accounts strategically in order to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth

  • Researches and understands territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy

  • Maintains and develops strategic partnerships with key customers and leverages internal resources, when necessary, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction

  • Builds in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applies these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions.  Maintains records and communications with customer base through CRM tool.

  • Maintains regular and informative communications with all other team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, etc.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5 years of prior sales experience required; preferably in life science reagents/consumables.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets for at least 3 years is required.

  • Residing in the assigned region and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the region is required.

  • Applications experience within genomics, NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc. and working knowledge of accounts in assigned territory preferred.

  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of customers

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – Around 50 % in the assigned territory

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • In depth knowledge of SalesForce.com and working knowledge of PowerBI

  • Outstanding prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation and closing skills. Ability to coach less senior team members as part of their development.

Dans ce rôle, vous aurez l'occasion de :

  • Développer et gérer stratégiquement un portefeuille de comptes afin de proposer des solutions adaptées et générer une croissance des revenus.

  • Identifier les opportunités de croissance sur votre territoire et élaborer une stratégie commerciale efficace.

  • Construire et entretenir des partenariats stratégiques avec des clients clés, tout en mobilisant les ressources internes nécessaires pour garantir leur satisfaction.

  • Maîtriser les outils de gestion CRM et de suivi des opportunités afin de prévoir l’activité commerciale, gérer les opportunités clients, alimenter un pipeline solide et prendre des décisions stratégiques.

  • Collaborer régulièrement et efficacement avec les autres membres de l’équipe (chefs de produit, scientifiques d’application, commerciaux, etc.).

Les exigences essentielles pour réussir dans ce rôle sont les suivantes :

  • 5 ans d’expérience en vente, idéalement dans le domaine des réactifs ou consommables en sciences de la vie.

  • Un historique de performances solides, avec des objectifs de ventes atteints ou dépassés sur au moins 3 ans.

  • Une excellente connaissance des comptes académiques, industriels et publics de votre région.

  • Une expérience technique dans les domaines du NGS, qPCR, clonage, mutagenèse, etc., ainsi qu’une bonne compréhension des besoins des clients de votre territoire.

  • Des compétences exceptionnelles en communication (écrite, orale, interpersonnelle et présentation) pour interagir avec des interlocuteurs variés.

Ce poste implique également :

  • Des déplacements fréquents (environ 50 % du temps dans votre territoire assigné).

  • Un permis de conduire valide et un dossier de conduite acceptable.

Une expérience préalable dans les domaines suivants serait un atout :

  • Une maîtrise approfondie de Salesforce.com et une connaissance pratique de PowerBI.

  • Une capacité à prospecter, gérer un territoire, négocier et conclure des affaires avec brio.

  • Une envie de transmettre vos connaissances et d’accompagner les membres moins expérimentés de l’équipe dans leur développement.
