Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Territory Manager and their mission is to sell the full suite of Everbridge critical event management solutions to State & Local Government (SLG) accounts. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced hunter/closer with a demonstrated track record of achievement selling in a full cycle, high volume closing role. 

 

*Territory States: FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, AL, MS, and NJ. We are looking for candidates living within or around territory they cover. 


What you'll do:
  • Prospect, qualify, manage, and close new sales. 

  • Develop domain knowledge of products, competitors, and target buyers in the SLG area. 

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline. 

  • Identify and sell to multiple buyers within an organization. 

  • Implement a consultative, solution selling, methodology. 

  • Exceed assigned sales objectives and quarterly bookings quotas. 

  • Accurately manage and forecast your business using Salesforce.  


What you'll bring:
  • 2+ years of closing experience in software sales. 

  • Experience with prospecting and engagement tools. 

  • Experience conducting presentations using video conferencing technology 

  • Strong hunting, prospecting, and cold-calling skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. 

  • Verifiable history of meeting or exceeding targets. 

 

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $60,000 - $70,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
