CTG is seeking to fill an iOS Developer opening for our client.

 

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-performance native iOS applications using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
  • Complete and oversee systems analysis, application design, development, testing, and implementation for basic to complex projects.
  • Serve as a key individual contributor on complex development projects and maintain a strong functional understanding of supported applications.
  • Collaborate with Development, Operations, Technology, business, and cross-functional teams to define, test, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Prepare and execute detailed test plans, review test data, perform debugging, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Evaluate complex relationships among applications, interfaces, platforms, and integrated systems to identify and implement effective technology solutions.
  • Prepare clear technical and functional specifications, system documentation, diagrams, and other materials required to support development and implementation.
  • Assess project requirements, tasks, estimated time frames, and effort for projects of varying scope.
  • Maintain the efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of supported applications.
  • Recommend new technologies, development standards, policies, and processes to improve applications and address deficiencies.
  • Follow established development standards, procedures, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an understanding of supported business functions, processes, operations, and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate development activities and provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel as needed.
  • Complete other related duties and special projects as required.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of a Technology Team Lead while independently handling high-level systems analysis and technical development activities.
  • Manage or coordinate development activities for small- to large-scope projects and contribute to project milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Interact with senior management, technology personnel, business partners, clients, and vendors.
  • Provide technical leadership and recommendations related to application development, architecture, integrations, and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor project activities and help ensure solutions are delivered effectively, efficiently, and within established timelines.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • May direct and monitor the activities of less experienced technical personnel.
  • May coordinate development tasks and provide technical guidance on project assignments.
  • May serve as a technical representative on committees, ad hoc projects, or other organizational initiatives.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associate degree and a minimum of 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience.
  • Experience with iOS/mobile application development.
  • Experience developing native iOS applications using Swift.
  • Familiarity with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
  • Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.
  • Experience working on multiple projects of a complex nature.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting technical information to target audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong lateral thinking skills.
  • Experience coordinating between application development teams and business units.
  • Experience recommending and implementing systems solutions.
  • Experience driving project milestones and delivery dates.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Advanced experience with native iOS application development using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
  • Strong understanding of application frameworks and integrated systems.
  • Advanced understanding of supported applications and interfacing/integrated applications.
  • Experience serving as a subject matter expert for supported business applications or systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple components of complex projects.
  • Action-oriented and proactive approach to development and problem resolution.
  • Advanced understanding of the overall application environment and ability to contribute to projects beyond normal business-as-usual activities.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.64 - $77.74/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
