OVERVIEW

Cadrex is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional who has strong analytical and technical skills and is looking to build broad experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

This role will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis across Cadrex. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, comfortable working with large and complex data sets, has a solid foundation in financial modeling and analysis, and can communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Prior manufacturing experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, operational analysis, and Cadrex's financial systems on the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and management presentations.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, weekly flash reporting, and month-end analysis.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and analytical tools used to evaluate business performance, profitability, costs, and operational trends.
  • Perform budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis and help identify and communicate key business drivers.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial and operational data across multiple business units and locations.
  • Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, overhead, inventory, and production variances.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting for Finance leadership and senior management.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting activities as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial models, reporting processes, and analytical tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure financial analyses are accurate, timely, and consistent.
Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, business analytics, or a related field preferred. Relevant internship or other analytical experience may also be considered.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and an ability to build and work with financial models. Experience with PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other common analytical functions is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work through complex data and identify meaningful insights.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and key financial concepts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new systems, financial concepts, and areas of the business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related quantitative field.

Salary Description
$70,000-$84,000 yearly
