CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst III opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate moderately complex projects from proposal through post-implementation.
- Meet with business stakeholders to identify application requirements, functionality, and end-user needs.
- Develop well-documented functional specifications, test plans, and test cases for assigned projects.
- Analyze moderately complex data to ensure functional designs meet business requirements.
- Serve as a functional lead on projects for assigned applications, as needed.
- Partner with business clients to understand requested application changes related to enterprise initiatives, compliance and regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and system maintenance.
- Participate in design discussions and develop, review, and finalize functional specifications with business clients through agreement and signoff.
- Review business requirements with Technology teams to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and requirements.
- Prepare and execute test plans and scripts to validate application changes and enhancements.
- Perform functional, integrated, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as required.
- Work with technical peers to assess the impact of application changes on related systems and interfaces.
- Monitor functional specifications and change requests to ensure projects remain within scope and meet business, regulatory, and technology requirements.
- Ensure established processes and documentation standards are followed.
- Identify, track, and facilitate timely resolution of issues arising during testing and implementation.
- Coordinate post-implementation follow-up with application owners, gather feedback, and assist with resolving issues.
- Identify risk-related issues and escalate them to management when appropriate.
- Maintain internal control standards and support timely remediation of audit and regulatory findings.
- Mentor less experienced staff by providing guidance related to application training, research and analysis, and project methodology.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Support multiple projects of basic to moderate complexity across business and technology teams.
- Coordinate requirements, functional specifications, testing, implementation, and post-implementation activities.
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements, Corporate Technology standards, regulatory requirements, and established governance processes.
- Collaborate effectively across business units, application teams, technology teams, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze application dependencies and interfaces to assess the potential impact of system changes.
- Apply strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills to support successful project delivery.
- Manage multiple priorities while recognizing project milestones, dependencies, and delivery dates.
- Recommend and help implement effective solutions to business and system-related issues.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
- May serve as a functional lead on assigned projects.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing to less experienced staff.
- Coordinate activities among business units, application teams, and technology stakeholders.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities are required.
Education and Experience Required:
- Combined minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.
- Experience supporting business systems, applications, or technology-related projects.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing and integrated testing.
- Proficiency with personal computers and applicable software packages, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to coordinate effectively between applications, technology teams, and business units.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to all levels of management.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience or subject matter expertise in the business area supported.
- Experience working with the applications and systems being supported.
- Knowledge of interfacing and integrated applications.
- Understanding of application frameworks and technology environments.
- Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.
- Experience in a regulated industry or environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement business or technology solutions.
- Proven lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience mentoring or providing guidance to less experienced team members.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple components of moderately complex projects.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $26.00 - $43.34/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
