Our client is looking for several Remote Licensed Insurance Sales Representatives to join their team with one of the largest dental insurance corporations.
Pay: $21.00 to $22.85 per hour depending on experience
Location: REMOTE within US
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM to 6:00PM EST
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00PM to 9:00PM EST
Duration: Position is a 3-month W2 contract to hire job opportunity!
Job Overview:
The Licensed Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for engaging with prospective customers, identifying their needs, and recommending appropriate individual dental insurance plans. This role combines sales expertise with customer support responsibilities to ensure a seamless experience from initial inquiry through enrollment and ongoing account support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from prospective customers interested in individual dental insurance products
- Ask detailed questions to understand customer needs and recommend suitable plan options
- Clearly explain plan costs, coverage details, and benefits to support informed decision-making
- Complete applications, guide customers through payment options, and finalize enrollments
- Submit new customer information accurately to the enrollment team
- Respond to inquiries from existing customers regarding eligibility, benefits, provider searches, claims, enrollment, and billing
- Provide education to customers to improve satisfaction, retention, and overall experience
- Proactively respond to electronic and written inquiries from prospects and current members
- Perform eligibility verification for programs such as third-party payers
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions within internal systems
- Adjust claims as needed based on research and findings
- Meet established productivity standards, including call volume and response times
- Handle complex issues requiring research and analysis, particularly related to enrollment and billing
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Active insurance sales license in accordance with state Department of Insurance requirements, such as Life, Accident, and Sickness
- Minimum of four years of successful sales and customer service experience in a call center or high-volume customer contact environment
- Ability to pass computer, telephone skills, and basic math assessments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continuous customer interaction
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to quickly learn and retain new systems, policies, and procedures
