FRAGOMEN
Product Owner – Legal Enterprise Software Solutions
Technology | Product Management | Full-Time | Hybrid/Remote (per location policy)
About Fragomen
Fragomen is the world’s leading immigration services firm, exclusively dedicated to helping organizations and individuals navigate the complexities of global immigration. Founded in 1951 and headquartered in New York City, Fragomen has grown into a truly global practice with more than 6,000 professionals across 70+ offices, delivering services in over 170 countries.
The firm provides end-to-end support across the full immigration lifecycle — from strategic planning, policy design, and case processing to compliance, government investigations, and litigation. Fragomen is consistently ranked among the Am Law 100 and Am Law Global 100, and its client base spans financial services, technology, life sciences, hospitality, and many other industries worldwide.
As Fragomen continues to invest in technology to power its legal and operational teams, the firm is building a modern product organization to deliver enterprise-grade case management and legal workflow platforms that support attorneys, paralegals, clients, and government-facing processes at global scale.
The Role
We are looking for a versatile Product Owner to drive the design, development, and delivery of software solutions that power Fragomen’s legal enterprise — including case management systems and related platforms used by legal, operations, and client-facing teams. This role sits at the intersection of legal practice, enterprise technology, and modern AI-enabled product development.
You will own products end-to-end: gathering requirements from legal and business stakeholders, shaping the roadmap, working closely with engineering to ship, and ensuring what you build genuinely improves how Fragomen’s teams and clients work. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who is comfortable owning outcomes, not just backlogs.
What You’ll Do
Own one or more software products end-to-end — from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery, adoption, and ongoing iteration.
Build and manage product roadmaps that balance legal/business priorities, technical feasibility, and long-term platform strategy.
Gather and translate requirements from legal partners, attorneys, operations teams, and clients into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the Agile development cycle — sprint planning, backlog grooming, story refinement, and release management.
Build trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, from legal partners and firm leadership to engineers, designers, and support teams.
Work independently and drive product workflows end-to-end, exercising sound judgment on priorities, trade-offs, and scope.
Rapidly prototype and validate ideas using AI-assisted development tools, turning concepts into working software quickly.
Stay current on the latest AI models, tools, and software development practices, and apply them to deliver cutting-edge, high-quality products.
Define and track success metrics, using data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Support multiple concurrent software initiatives across the legal enterprise portfolio, adapting quickly across different products and problem spaces.
What You’ll Bring
5–7 years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments, with a track record of shipping enterprise software.
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and deliver software products end-to-end, from concept to production.
Experience owning and managing product roadmaps with full accountability for outcomes.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and relationships across legal, business, and technical audiences.
A self-directed, independent working style with strong ownership of customer satisfaction and product workflows.
Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar) for rapid prototyping.
Genuine familiarity with the latest AI models and software trends, and a point of view on how to apply them to product delivery.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts across audiences.
Nice to Have
MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.
Experience in legal technology, particularly within immigration law or case management platforms.
Background working in or alongside law firms, legal operations, or regulated enterprise environments.
Why Fragomen
Join a firm that is 100% dedicated to immigration and trusted by the world’s leading organizations to manage global mobility. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how technology transforms legal case management at a global scale, working with modern AI tooling and a firm that is investing seriously in its product and engineering capabilities.
Fragomen is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
