Job description

Why Ethicrithm?

Ethicrithm Inc. is a Palantir partner serving clients across North America. We specialize in integrating and structuring enterprise data, developing AI-driven solutions, and implementing intelligent operating systems with Palantir Foundry and AIP. We deliver secure, scalable, and impactful solutions that optimize business operations and drive measurable returns on investment, impact and results. We’re building a high-performance team of humble, helpful, and client-oriented teammates.

The Role

As a Technical Lead on Ethicrithm’s Delivery team, you own the technical success of mission-critical Palantir engagements and the growth of the Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) who deliver them. As a player-coach, you set the architectural direction on your primary account, write production code alongside your team, and provide technical oversight across one or more additional engagements. You partner with client executives to translate ambiguous business problems into pragmatic Foundry/AIP solutions, and you raise the bar on delivery quality across Ethicrithm by mentoring FDEs, codifying best practices, and serving as the technical escalation point when projects get hard. This role requires deep Palantir expertise, strong architectural judgment, the credibility to lead both clients and engineers, and a passion for making a real-world impact. We are looking for exceptional candidates in Canada and the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with client executives and technical stakeholders, scope new opportunities, lead workshops and architecture reviews, and present solution recommendations and trade-offs to senior decision-makers.
  • Build Operational Workflows in Foundry: deploy, configure, customize, and maintain production applications.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Understand the intersection of business and technical problems, analyze root causes, and develop creative technical solutions that power real operational outcomes for our clients.
  • Mentorship & Enablement: Coach FDEs through code reviews, design reviews, and pairing on hard problems; develop reusable patterns, accelerators, and documentation; and train client end users to operate independently on Palantir tools.
  • Delivery Leadership: Own the technical plan, timeline, and quality of deliverables on your primary engagement and provide architectural oversight on additional accounts; partner closely with Deployment Leads to own the success of large Foundry programs.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 5–8 years of professional experience delivering software or data solutions, including time as a senior engineer, tech lead, or solutions architect on enterprise engagements
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineers on technical projects, including code reviews, design reviews, and growing the people around you
  • Comfort owning the architectural and delivery health of more than one engagement at a time
  • Energized by working directly with clients on site and remotely, including senior and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that go beyond surface-level to dive into the details, all in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication that can adapt to client preferences and requirements
  • Deep understanding of data engineering principles and software architecture, including data modeling, pipeline design, and application/API design
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript
  • Experience delivering production solutions on complex enterprise data at scale
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity while working on mission critical projects

Preferred with flexibility for the right fit

  • A post-secondary or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
  • Prior delivery experience on Palantir Foundry and/or AIP, ideally in a lead or architect capacity
  • Experience leading multi-stream programs or providing technical oversight across more than one client engagement at a time
  • Experience delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions
  • Experience delivering production frontend applications in React
  • Experience with Spark, Polars, or distributed compute
