GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

An HR and Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, as well as supporting overall human resources functions to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This role plays a critical part in aligning the workforce to the company's goals, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and best practices. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates. 
  • Write and post job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards and social media. 
  • Source and screen candidates through CV reviews, interviews, and skills assessments. 
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and relevant stakeholders. 
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future positions. 
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, consultants, and other external partners. 
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration for new hires. 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues. 
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture. 
  • Address and resolve employee concerns in a professional and confidential manner. 
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to gather feedback for organizational improvement. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems. 
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with local labor laws. 
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards. 
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to track hiring, retention, and other metrics. 
  • Identify training needs and assist in planning employee development programs. 
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills. 
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives. 
  • Assist in designing and implementing performance appraisal systems. 
  • Support managers in addressing performance-related issues and setting development plans. 
  • Track and follow up on employee progress and performance goals. 


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is a plus. 
  • Proven experience in recruitment and HR roles (typically 2–5 years). 
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. 
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
