As an Associate Software Quality Engineer, you will contribute to software quality and validation activities for enterprise-level healthcare technology solutions. Working within an Agile development environment, you will execute testing activities, support validation documentation, collaborate with software development teams, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant software products. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support validation and quality assurance activities for eCOA software products in accordance with established SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.

  • Participate in software testing activities, including test reviews, test execution, and test witnessing within an Agile development environment.

  • Review product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and related documentation to support comprehensive test coverage.

  • Assist in planning test efforts and identifying testing scope based on project requirements and release schedules.

  • Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and maintain testing evidence in accordance with quality procedures.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance team members, database administrators, and system administrators to investigate and resolve testing issues.

  • Support defect identification, documentation, tracking, and verification activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Assist with troubleshooting test failures across multiple testing environments.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and validation deliverables.

  • Ensure timely completion of required training, documentation, and compliance activities.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing quality, efficiency, and consistency.

  • Support cross-functional collaboration and contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, validation, or a related technical discipline.

  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycle concepts.

  • Experience or exposure to manual and automated testing tools and techniques.

  • Understanding of Agile software development methodologies preferred.

  • Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, clinical research, or pharmaceutical technology is a plus.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), automation, or DevOps practices is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend solutions.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving project requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while also managing assigned responsibilities independently.
