Acting as an extension of their clients’ in-house growth teams, they specialize in rapid testing, high-converting funnels, and data-driven experimentation to drive measurable revenue growth.

Job Summary

As a Remote QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications. You'll collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to validate new features, identify defects, and improve testing processes throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has experience with both manual and automated testing, thrives in a remote-first environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and usability.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern testing frameworks.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke testing.
  • Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release testing.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing standards.
  • Ensure software meets quality expectations before production releases.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of manual software testing methodologies.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or other issue-tracking platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
  • Exposure to performance, load, or security testing.
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.
  • Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based applications.
