Job description

Provides advanced quality assurance and inspection support across development, production, testing, supplier, and customer quality activities. Serves as an experienced quality resource for product verification, audit execution, inspection planning, nonconformance resolution, and customer quality interactions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review and approve data packages, shipping documentation, inspection records, and quality documentation to ensure compliance with customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements. (25%)

  • Analyze quality trends, investigate nonconformances, and support corrective and preventive action activities to improve product and process performance. (20%)

  • Develop inspection plans and provide technical guidance to inspection personnel regarding product acceptance criteria, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements. (20%)

  • Conduct and support customer audits, source inspections, supplier quality reviews, and quality management system audits. (20%)

  • Perform advanced inspection activities and support inspection of complex assemblies, machined components, fabricated products, and electronic hardware when required. (15%)

Representative Qualifications

  • High school diploma, technical certification, Associate degree, or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Typically 4–6 years of quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, or technical quality experience

  • Proficiency interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and process plans

  • Experience conducting audits and supporting customer quality activities

  • Inter-Process Commission (IPC) 610 certification preferred

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards such as Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
