Who We Are
Great Minds is a high-growth, mission-driven organization founded by educators in 2007. As a for-profit, Public Benefit Corporation, we believe all students deserve access to meaningful, challenging content—and all teachers deserve tools that are intuitive, effective, and built for the realities of today’s classrooms.
We develop high-quality, knowledge-rich math, science and ELA curricula grounded in research and designed in collaboration with educators. Our materials reflect real classroom needs and are built to drive lasting student outcomes.
We are committed to usability, coherence, and practical implementation—supporting teachers not just through curriculum, but with professional learning, purposeful technology, and responsive service that enable strong adoption and impact.
What We Build
Our products—Eureka Math and Eureka Math², Wit & Wisdom, Geodes, and the newly launched Arts & Letters ELA—are trusted by thousands of schools and districts nationwide.
Eureka Math is the most widely used math curriculum in the U.S., and is focused on balancing conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application.
Wit & Wisdom® and Arts & Letters ELA™ anchor our reading strategy with content-rich, grade-level instruction that integrates literature, history, and the arts, grounded in the science of reading. Geodes® complements our reading suite with decodable texts that pair phonics with meaningful content to support early literacy.
These programs reflect a shared belief in high expectations, joyful rigor, and deep respect for educators and students.
Where We’re Headed
Great Minds is entering a new stage of growth and product maturity. We are focused on building more connected, customer-informed experiences across the full educator journey—from curriculum to professional learning to platform and support.
Our long-term vision is to become a true partner in impact—not just delivering curriculum, but supporting educators in achieving outcomes at scale.
Job Purpose
Great Minds was built on a restless conviction: that every student deserves nothing less than our best, and that the status quo in curriculum has never been good enough. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management to own the strategic direction and health of our Literacy State Adoption product portfolio and to build and lead the team of Product Managers who bring it to life. Reporting to the Director of Product, you'll set the vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy across the Literacy State Adoption product portfolio, translating market insight, user research, and business acumen into decisions that shape where the portfolio goes next. This is a role for a product leader who believes that coherence isn't a feature, it's a philosophy, and who can hold that belief across an entire portfolio while developing the people who execute against it. The ideal candidate brings deep experience building and leading high-performing product teams in K-12 literacy or English Language Arts education, a track record of driving complex, products from strategy through delivery, and an unwavering belief that every child is capable of greatness. This leader thrives in a mission-driven environment where urgency, rigor, and accountability are the standard, and where developing other leaders is as important as developing the roadmap.
Responsibilities
Own the strategic vision and roadmap for the Literacy State Adoption product portfolio, ensuring every product decision reflects the instructional research and literacy instructional model at the core of Great Minds' approach.
Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers, setting clear expectations, growing their strategic and technical judgment, and holding the team accountable to a high bar of rigor and craft.
Set priorities across products, balancing near-term delivery against long-term strategic bets, and resolve tradeoffs when individual product plans compete for shared resources.
Partner with the content and research teams to reflect the instructional research and the literacy instructional model in the product design and development process across the portfolio.
Direct end-to-end product lifecycle activities, including: market research, competitive analysis, product strategy and design, scope and roadmap development, pricing, and launch.
Collaborate with the Content team to develop and execute product strategy related to state adoptions, pricing bundles, sampling, and open territory/large-district opportunities across the portfolio.
Sponsor and guide user interviews and classroom testing led by the team, ensuring product decisions across the portfolio are grounded in direct user and classroom evidence.
Synthesize customer feedback, product analytics, and competitive market data into a portfolio-wide view, translating that view into clear prioritization recommendations for senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Content, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Design, and Operations to keep portfolio vision and execution aligned.
Conceptualize and quantify product vision at the portfolio level, including research, market mapping, competitive analysis, market opportunity, and strategic development.
Provide oversight and ensure alignment between the instructional philosophy, content development, and Great Minds' digital platform in the delivery of features and customer experience across the Literacy line.
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues across your portfolio that may impair the organization's ability to meet its strategic, financial, and technical goals.
Own post-launch performance across your product portfolio, including adoption, usage, performance, retention, and renewal metrics.
After you apply, unlock the direct contact details of the people who actually make the call. A quick follow-up makes you 5x more likely to land an interview.
