Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. The Finance Business Partner will play an important role in contributing to the strategic goals of the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) through optimal allocation of its funds.

This role will offer you a unique opportunity to work in an ambitious, private foundation with passionate and talented colleagues, who are committed to our vision to improve people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet. In 2025, the Novo Nordisk Foundation awarded DKK 11.8 bn in grants and investments, making it one of the largest philanthropic actors in the world.

The Position

As Finance Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the finance team in guiding NNF’s strategic decision-making process regarding financial allocations of funds through granting and operational activities. Rightsizing and continuously improving financial planning of ~DKK 12bn in grants and investments is a critical task for the ongoing performance and success of the NNF.

Currently, NNF is going through a strategy revision phase where the overall strategic direction is being focused, and activities across the organisation are undergoing changes consequently. This is an exciting opportunity for you to take active part in establishing the future processes and planning with the aim of creating a scalable business. In other words, there is room for real influence on the order of business in this role. The role of AI is essential here and as Finance Business Partner in NNF it is expected that you pursue solutions to challenges with active you of these

We imagine that you have:

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Audit, Economics or related field 
  • +5 years of relevant experience in a relevant financial field. Relevant backgrounds can be corporate finance, auditing, governmental/educational institutions or non-profit institutions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data also to people of non-financial background. Preferably practical experience with use of AI in a professional context.

You will work onsite at the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s headquarters in Hellerup. We have an office-first policy where limited remote working conditions can be agreed upon.
