Job Description

About the role

As Senior Finance Business Partner – Adjacent Revenue, you'll be the primary finance partner for SEEK's Adjacent Revenue portfolio — spanning SEEK Business, GradConnection, SEEK Volunteer and SEEK Learning. You will lead end-to-end planning, performance management and commercial decision support across multiple markets in Asia and Australia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you'll work within the APAC Commercial Investments Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance, Commercial Investments, and play a key role in bringing a coherent Adjacent Revenue view into group planning forums.

You will serve as a trusted commercial co-pilot to Adjacent Revenue and Commercial Growth leaders, shaping decisions on growth, profitability, pricing, headcount and investment. You'll work closely with Finance peers across ANZ, Marketing and other portfolios, as well as cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Strategy, R2R and Group FP&A. Success in this role means becoming a go-to source of insight for business stakeholders — someone who connects financial rigour with clear, practical commercial judgment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and 5-year planning for the Adjacent Revenue portfolio
  • Manage the monthly performance rhythm, delivering accurate P&L reporting, variance analysis and forward-looking projections
  • Act as a commercial challenger and partner to Adjacent Revenue and Commercial Growth leaders on key investment decisions
  • Prepare and review business cases, scenario models and post-investment reviews for growth initiatives
  • Define, track and refine financial and operational KPIs/OKRs to support performance management
  • Identify and implement improvements to planning, reporting and analytics processes
  • Build strong relationships with Group FP&A, R2R and Finance Centres of Excellence to integrate Adjacent Revenue priorities into group processes

Qualifications

  • Proven minimum 7 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering or management accounting, with ownership of planning and performance for a business unit or portfolio
  • Experience working in a regional or multi-market business, particularly across APAC, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior business stakeholders, with a track record of providing constructive challenge
  • Strong financial modelling, variance analysis and budgeting experience, including month-end processes
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights for non-finance audiences
  • Advanced Excel capability and confidence working across financial systems and large data sets
  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business or a related discipline (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is desirable)
