Responsibilities

  • Support Finance Manager in overseeing accounting and financial reporting for OPEX, inventory, fixed assets, and leasing activities.
  • Lead and review the work of onshore and offshore accounting teams to ensure timely month-end closing and accurate reporting.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliation, P&L items, variance analysis, and audit schedules for monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting.
  • Monitor inventory transactions, perform stock reconciliation, and coordinate periodic inventory counts against SAP/system records.

Job Description

  • Support Finance Manager in overseeing accounting and financial reporting for OPEX, inventory, fixed assets, and leasing activities.
  • Lead and review the work of onshore and offshore accounting teams to ensure timely month-end closing and accurate reporting.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliation, P&L items, variance analysis, and audit schedules for monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting.
  • Monitor inventory transactions, perform stock reconciliation, and coordinate periodic inventory counts against SAP/system records.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on new product launches, including UAT, process setup, and SOP updates to ensure accounting readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, support audits, and provide accounting guidance to business stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, with at least 3 years of audit and accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge in IFRS accounting; exposure to IFRS 16 and inventory accounting is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, macros, or other data visualisation tools is a plus.
