Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a family-owned Australian health and wellness brand that develops premium natural products designed to support pain relief, better sleep, and overall wellbeing. With products trusted by customers in over 30 countries, the business is committed to innovation, quality, and exceptional customer experiences while fostering a collaborative, purpose-driven work environment.

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a proactive and creative Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with the brand's visual identity and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and detail, and can efficiently manage multiple editing projects while consistently delivering polished outputs within agreed timelines. Experience editing content for digital and social media platforms is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-performing video content for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google/YouTube advertising campaigns, with a primary focus on short-form direct response creatives.
  • Produce compelling video edits that drive engagement, conversions, and overall campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to translate creative briefs into polished, on-brand video assets.
  • Adapt and optimize existing video content for different platforms, formats, and audience segments.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and version control to support an efficient production workflow.
  • Stay up to date with emerging video editing techniques, advertising trends, and platform best practices to continuously improve creative performance.
  • Utilize AI-powered creative tools, including Higgsfield (or similar AI video generation platforms), to streamline production and enhance content where applicable.
  • Support the creation of longer-form video content for special projects as required.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality digital marketing or paid advertising content.
  • Strong proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
  • Demonstrated experience creating short-form direct response video ads for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google/YouTube campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of video storytelling, pacing, typography, motion graphics, and sound design for performance marketing.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and produce engaging, conversion-focused video content.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality while working under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience optimizing video content for various digital platforms, aspect ratios, and advertising specifications.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered video generation tools, such as Higgsfield, or a willingness to quickly learn and adopt new AI technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace suitable for full-time work.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to receive feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously improve creative output.
