VicRoads is progressing too. In August 2022, we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf.

We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.

Annual Salary Range: Up to $115,000 + super (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Maximum Term (24 months), Full-Time
Work Location: QV Melbourne CBD / Work from home (flexibility may be available)

About the Team

Sitting within the broader People and Culture team, the Talent Acquisition function delivers a comprehensive end-to-end recruitment service. We leverage the tools LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn networks, job postings, SEEK, and our applicant tracking system Workday. Our goal is to provide a candidate-first hiring experience while partnering closely with stakeholders to advise on and execute recruitment strategies and build strong talent pipelines.


About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional, specialising in Technology recruitment, to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll be embedded within key portfolios, including Engineering, Architecture & Strategy, Cloud, and EPMO. You’ll be responsible for delivering effective hiring campaigns that align with best-practice recruitment methodologies. A key focus of the role is creating meaningful candidate experiences, underpinned by clear communication and transparency throughout the process.

We are looking for a true team player, someone who puts in 100% but isn’t afraid to have a little fun while doing so! Your attention to detail, effortless stakeholder management and keen eye for talent will set you apart for this position.

The skills and experience required include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proven ability to navigate complex business processes and independently identify solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Build strong and collaborative customer relationships based on superior service and actively plans and implements service improvement initiatives and effectively addresses service issues.
