Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform complex, large scale and cross-functional problem resolution across business units.
  • Lead a team of analysts and senior analysts.
  • Must understand the impact or potential impact of errors both functionally and reputationally.
  • Must understand beginning-to-end processes for all functions, including navigating multiple systems.
  • Work on special projects at the direction of the manager and provide backup assistance to the manager as required.
  • Identify system issues or defects and provide an appropriate level of documentation to the appropriate support group.
  • Ability to provide a broad level of assistance during testing of system upgrades or implementation of new systems.
  • Depth of knowledge and expertise will provide direct interaction with various levels of management, including but not limited to our Lines of Business partners as well as external vendors.
  • Contribute and assist in implementation of ideas and recommendations to improve processes and reduce risk.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM:

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly with coworkers, managers, and business partners.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to document process flows and recognize opportunities for improvements.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead or assist in implementation of process change.
  • Demonstrates ability and knowledge to coordinate and/or resolve complex or large-scale problems that cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to learn new systems based on available. documentation with little to no guidance.
  • Demonstrates ability to draft, test, and vet new processes.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to actively participate or lead team activities or work initiatives.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate in writing.
  • Demonstrates ability to process data accurately while performing multiple tasks under tight time constraints.

PREFERRED:

  • Demonstrate ability to use SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrate ability to compile statistics and metrics.
  • Familiarity with DTCC processing cycles, functions and interfaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of Global Plus

Requirements

MINIMUM:

  • Any combination of 10 years of financial services experience and/or college coursework
  • 3-5 years of operations experience
  • 3 years’ experience in-depth complex problem resolution
  • Working knowledge of domestic and global markets

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years of operations experience

Work Environment:

Large open cubical environment-must be able to work near other associates. Must be able to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.  Some remote work.

Compensation Range:

$81,864 - $120,406
